FREE Courses Level 2-5 Diploma in Adult Care – Greater Manchester and surrounding areas only!

This fully Government funded Level NVQ training course is FREE for health and social care workers based in Greater Manchester areas – Trafford, Salford, Bolton, Wigan, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Stockport, and Manchester. 

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care Course

The QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care replaces the NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care course. This level 2 NVQ / QCF diploma in health and social care is the equivalent of a GCSE qualification. The course is recommended for those who are looking to move into the care sector, or are working mainly under supervision.

The level 2 QCF / NVQ course focuses on enabling quality person-centred care, developing and maintaining an individual’s independence, and improving the delivery of care to service users. Learners can customise their NVQ / QCF course to suit them, with generic, dementia and learning disabilities pathways available.

Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care Course

The QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care replaces the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care course. This internationally recognised QCF is the equivalent of an A-level qualification and is the UK industry standard for those working in the adult care sector. The training course is for those who hold some responsibility in their workplace, and work without supervision.

This QCF / NVQ Level 3 training course gives learners the essential skills and competency necessary to work with adults or children. The qualification is for workers in all social care settings, including primary care services, domiciliary care, residential care homes, day services and assisting supported living.

Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care Course

This qualification is the natural next step for those who have completed a Level 3 Diploma and is applicable to a variety of roles, where workers have key responsibilities for delivery of care and support and/or a level of supervisory responsibility for others, such as; Lead Adult Care Worker, Senior Care Assistant and Team Leaders.

The Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care is specifically designed for Care Coordinator and Senior Carers in a supervisory position who are in Adult Care and may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres, a person’s own home or some clinical healthcare settings.

Level 5 RQF / NVQ In Adult Care Leadership & Management

An RQF Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care replaces the NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care. This internationally recognised qualification is the equivalent of an A-level qualification and is the UK industry standard for managers  working in the adult care sector.

Eligibility:

  • Be aged 19+
  • Live / Working in Greater Manchester area (Trafford, Salford, Bolton, Wigan, Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside, Stockport)
  • Have lived in UK 3+ years
  • Be in employment in the care setting and legally allowed to work / live in the UK
  •  If not a UK citizen, you need to have a visa, a settlement status or a residency permit
  •  You can also be eligible if you are an EEA member
